The lounge is very big, so it doesn't heat up easily, making the heat pump unnecessary, which is a downside. The downstairs bathroom tends to get very steamy with a high level of moisture and mold. The landlord is a difficult guy and can be quite rude, so it's best not to get on his bad side. On the bright side, the location is great.
I really like this flat; it has a lot of character with its four stories and unique staircases. The location is great for third years, being close to the night n' day and not too far up the hill. However, the landlord is quite over-involved, requesting inspections every six weeks, and the bottom bedrooms can be noisy since you can hear the neighbors and the footsteps from the stairs. Overall, the kitchen and bathroom are good, and the provided furniture is a plus.
The house has a great view, which is definitely the best thing about it. However, the flatmates have been a downside for me. Overall, the landlord is responsive and helpful.
