The room sizes are all very good, and I appreciate the nice fire in winter and the cheap rent. However, the house is absolutely freezing, doesn't hold heat at all, and has drafts through the windows and doors, along with damp and mould in a couple of rooms. The landlord has been pretty good with most issues throughout the year, though some problems, like broken floorboards and a leaky roof, took a while to be addressed. The best part is definitely the good size bedrooms and common living areas, but one bedroom does get all-day sun all year while the rest don’t really get any.

Resident Reviews
The flat has decent-sized bedrooms and a top-notch kitchen with plenty of cupboard space, plus it comes furnished with two couches, a dining table, and appliances like a washing machine and dryer. While the fireplace and heat pumps are good for heating, the place is cold, damp, and mouldy, and I initially dealt with rats and mice. The property manager is mostly helpful, but I've been waiting a long time for repairs on the leaky ceiling and rotten floorboards, and although insulation is supposedly coming, there's been no action on that yet. Overall, the size and fireplace are great, but the cold and damp conditions make it less than ideal.
The house has an awesome style, is spacious, and has good furnishings, which I really appreciate. The landlord is pretty prompt with requests and pays attention to detail during inspections. However, it can get pretty cold in some rooms since it's on a hill.
