When I first moved into the flat, it was not professionally cleaned and was in a livable state, covered in spider webs with occasional spiders crawling around. The kitchen utensils were sticky, the pots and pans rusty, and the shower was mouldy—just overall disgusting. Dealing with the landlord has been a nightmare; she is extremely slack and unresponsive, only reaching out when she needs something and constantly hassling us about rent. She even enters the flat without giving 24-hour notice. Honestly, there was nothing good about this experience.

I loved the location of the flat, but I regret living here due to the poor house condition and terrible property management. I don't trust the landlord at all, and the shower is definitely the worst part of the place. The only reason the insulation is decent is because we pursued a government scheme.

The house was very cold, had leaks in all but one room, and the downstairs 'Narnia' room was filled with trash, including bottles filled with urine. It was also a target for vandals, with a lot of bottles thrown through the front windows, and parking was limited and heavily policed, leading to damage to my car on drinking nights. On the bright side, the landlord was good and paid for the broken windows, but the place was a pigsty when we moved in. The best thing about it was the location, but the price for what it was felt like a shithole.

The house has a unique feature that feels like a Narnia, with a space you can go under. Our landlord, Gareth, has a bad attitude but does good things; he's a bit of a dick. The best and worst thing about living here is definitely the people.
