The house is SO close to uni, and I love the really big bedrooms with wardrobes and the nice bathroom. However, the kitchen is a bit dodgy, and it’s really cold all the time—usually colder inside than outside. The landlord is not very responsive when issues arise, and while the heat pump in the lounge is great, the cold and street noise can be quite bothersome.
I really hate the uniflats; they’re incredibly noisy. On the bright side, the closets are handy, the bathroom is nice, and I love the sunlight and closeness to uni. However, I worry that the kitchen is going to collapse someday soon. The landlord is really friendly and quick to respond, always getting tradesmen to come round when needed.
