The property manager is so good, and the flat is pretty warm without heating. The landlord is amazing, responding within two days at most; when we had a hot water issue, the plumber came over the same day. The best thing about the place is the location, but the worst part is the mouldy windows.

The flat complex has 10 units, and being in the 10th one means you have to hike up quite a few stairs, which is definitely the worst part. The rooms are arranged in a way that makes you feel a bit like you're back in a hall. While the landlord is quick to respond, I often have to chase him to get things sorted. On the bright side, four out of the six rooms get plenty of sun.

The house is pretty warm overall, with four out of the six bedrooms getting sun and retaining warmth, although two rooms can be a bit cold. While the landlord is friendly and very helpful, she doesn't live in Dunedin, so it can take some time for her to address issues in the flat. The best thing about living here is the comfortable temperature, but the worst is the mould in the bathrooms, which can be a concern due to condensation on the windows.

The house is conveniently located near the central library and town, which is great since it's close to uni. However, we have to pay 12 months of rent, which is a downside. The landlord is nice and responds quickly to requests, but he refused to address some issues, like a malfunctioning power plug on the wall. Additionally, the place isn't soundproof, which can be a bit frustrating.

The house gets cold in winter, but it's not too bad overall, making it a great student flat despite the lack of soundproofing and some rooms having quite a bit of condensation. The landlord is lovely, very easy to contact, and quick to respond to any issues. The best things are the location and decent-sized rooms, while the worst are the creaky stairs and floors.
