The house is cold in winter, but we never heated it, so it’s similar to most Wellington properties. The louvre windows in the kitchen let in a lot of wind, contributing to the chill, and while the rest of the place is fairly standard, the bathroom lacks an extractor fan, leading to some mold despite keeping the window open. The garden is a bit messy since the landlord is hands-off with the exterior, but he keeps the interior tidy and gets things done when asked. Overall, given the price, room size, and location just 5 minutes from Massey and Countdown, I rate it slightly above average, though it could be stunning with some work.
