Rate this flatThe house has spacious rooms with plenty of natural light, and the kitchen and living area are great for conversation. My only real issue was mould in the bathroom and living room. On the plus side, the landlord, through The University Flats office, is incredibly helpful and responsive; I've always received immediate assistance when needed.
The landlord is unresponsive and reluctant to fix issues around the house, often showing up without notice. While they do ensure the lawns are mowed every Tuesday and have added a lock on the back gate for safety, the kitchen is tiny and looks disgusting. On the bright side, we do have a nice new bathroom, which is a plus. Just remember to be straightforward with them and keep pushing for any necessary repairs.
The flat has big, cosy rooms and a great heat pump that keeps it warm, but it can be cold without it. The bathroom has mould on the ceiling and drips constantly, and the old dryer uses a lot of power. Some of the wood has bora in it, but the front of the house gets decent sun. The landlord is very good at fixing anything and is pretty onto it.
